buy a z-series box for
just linux, it is much more common to add IFL's to an already
existing mainframe infrustructure. Compare *those* costs, and it
becomes much more competitive.

consolidation, not only would we save on licensing costs on all those
engines, but would also provide a lot of head room capacity-wise on
those boxes, that would delay hardware upgrades.

'endian' problem. Didn't know if anyone on the list had any rabbits in

on this type of issue.

Does that mean it won't run on any other hardware platform, even

don't go the Z800 route, but maybe a
9672 G5/G6 route, I will be back to looking at Domino on Linux as the
lowest cost alternative.
