I would be interested, too, as I'm in the process of installing Oracle and
trying to get all the management tools to run.
Right now, the database is up and running, but some of the management tools
won't start.
Thanks,

Well, there shouldn't be any gotcha's, if the installation material and the
articles on My Oracle Support are all up to date :-) The plan is, it should all
work, if we say it should.
If it doesn't work, open a service request. If that doesn't work, ping me and
I'll have a wee chat

If it doesn't work, open
more real mainframe storage to support it.
So until that is fixed, DO NOT USE RAC on Z until this is corrected

Thanks Mark,
Where can I find the Release Notes for SLES10 GA? I found them for SP2, and
then for SP 1, but I can't seem to locate the GA Release Notes anywhere.
I had a little fun getting the install system to 'talk' to my FTP Server, and
then the proper directory, but I worked it out.

Talk to your IBM people. z/VM loaners are easily available if you ask.

And while I wouldn't mind a z/VM trial, I wouldn't want it to go away in a
few months, and then not have anything running. I'd rather have it running,
sans z/VM, and then add z/VM later.
VM is a great facility to prepare an operating system to run stand alone in
an LPAR. .
