No - that's just your grep process which is running. (hint - try ps -aux|grep

Telnet was designed when there used to be a single line for a single connection.
No danger of sniffing and hacking. Clearly it's not the best solutions to run
over TCP/IP streams.
If you are dialing up, use ssh instead, it's easy to set up and very good. No
fear to be root over ssh... :-))
Try SSh(secure login) better than telnet as well as safer than what telnet
is.

I even downloaded one of the utilities called telenet3.23 for win.I am using
