Again, not sure about laptops. We might be able to do a deal, though, if we talk to Dove. Alterntatively, you should be able to return your unused MS license for a refund if you wipe the Windows install before every starting the machine... This has been covered SO many times.

The problem is that on the laptop desktop lines they can't unbundle the Windows OS, and there's no way we can prevent money going to Microsoft. This just isn't acceptable to me. Ditch Compaq. A few days ago I priced desktop machines. You must buy the monitor and pay MS tax with Compaq
