Check it out! Try your midi tracks in the Arranger now.
In git master.
- Add midi strip (finally!)
- Add splitter handle for resizing the panel (finally!)
- Add 'Alt' button to switch between midi strip and old midi track info.
(Yes, I kept the old midi trackinfo. Check it out!
Useful?

To complete the phase of resetting your account password at MusE Sequencer
forum, you will need to go to the URL below in your web browser.

[I get this:]
You seem to have entered an invalid password
y trivial adjustments and so on :-(
I try to gradually include more things as I go along, for example
I recently did it for drawing or altering audio automation graphs.

* A fix for 'New drum' tracks!:
- Drum maps were not being updated according to track's current port
and channel, and current state of program controller.
So a hook into the global heartbeat timer was added and all drum maps
are updated if necessary. Tested OK so far with multiple parts open

hem work.
Also, I'll try to improve the knobs behaviour:
The knob pointer should jump immediately to the direction
the mouse is moving in, once the mouse starts moving.
Currently you must actually grab and 'turn' the knob
so it's not really an ideal action.
Thanks.

Oh crud.
DrumGizmo made significant changes to their semaphore code
from 0.9.10 to 0.9.11
The supplied file runs fine with 0.9.10 but crashes

In the git master now:
- No more manually loading a drum map file ;-)
- Load up some SoundFont(s) in the plugin, and try it out. Works with
multiple SoundFonts in different channels (be sure to mark 'drum' column).
- Automatically looks for libinstpatch-1.0 (from Swami) and uses if found.

Added the ChangeLog entries:
- Midi Instrument Editor: A default Patch Number is allowed now
(HBank = LBank = Prg = don't care). See GM instr for ex.
ALL drum map items are editable now including Hide, Mute, Channel,
Port, Anote.

I have an off-topic question, upon first blush at this video:
Near the beginning ~0:24, your two MusE Jack Midi devices are not
paired together into a single input + output device.
Was this

As per recent email discussions:
In git master now:
- Midi Tracks and Wave Tracks have a 'Monitor' button.
Push to pass input through to output.
Midi Track 'Midi Thru' was re-branded and re-purposed as 'Monitor'.
- Meters: When in 'rec-arm' mode but not 'Monitor', meters

you want, go ahead and try Step 1, I broke it into two steps
so each could be tested. But hopefully soon it'll be done anyway.
For my next trick, Step 2... Configuration optional...

Psst: Wanna see something mind blowing?
With these fixes now, if your ALSA timer gave you a
high enough frequency:
Go to:
MusE Settings -> Global Settings: Midi Tab: "RTC Resolution"
Change it from 1024 to an insanely high number like 32768.
Observe in the terminal output that the timer
34 matches
