What's your viewpoint when observing the discoloration? If it's from a

After years of experimentaion with both sitting and holding the lute, I came
upon a 12 high footstool which is perfect. At 6 ft tall, I fold up around
the lute just enough to hold it securely; I no longer use a strap or foot

very thin slice of wood which is glued over something more substantial,
