But holding down shift makes no difference. Every other proggy and app allow
copy and paste with either copy and paste, or two mouse button click, into
each other.
Lyx allows copy into it, but when highlighted and then copy paste or two mouse
click, nothing at all out of it.
Thank you, but I can paste from any app or proggy into Lyx, just not anything
from Lyx to anything else except to Openoffice.org.
I can paste into lyx as text or paragraphs or whatever, but cannot copy and
paste out of Lyx.

in ERT, immediately before the grey Bibtex References box.

Since you're using komascript this is easily achieved. Just add the
komascript option appendixprefix. In LyX you do that in the
Layout-document dialog, on the layout tab in the text field marked options.

Does anyone know how I can stop bibliographic entries in the reference list
from breaking across pages? (I'm using the natbib package).
I tried to use the preamble commands:
\widowpenalty=1
\clubpenalty=1
\raggedbottom %%optional
But these seem to make no difference.

Apologies for what I imagine is a common question, yet I cannot find
it in the wiki or mailing list archive. I've written an article with
an appendix in LyX 1.3.7 using the koma-script article layout. I'd
like to change the appendix headings from just
: My title
to
Appendix : My title
Go to edit - paste external section and select one of the options. Be
warned it doesn't work all that well for me a lot of the time -
sometimes I need to restart LyX to get it to see the outside text..

Does anyone think that adding a GUI for figures would be cool?
I really like this one. http://ipe.compgeom.org/ Could this or
something like it be Incorporated? Exporting the EPS is fine but
sometimes I find I made tiny errors and it would be pretty cool to
edit it from within LyX.
