Hi to the most helpful users-list I know,
I am using memoir to print a book, with a wide margin for graphics.
As I don't need this wide empty margin when printing pagenotes,
I need to change margins for the page notes at the end of each chapter.
I can do this with the preamble code:

You should use LyX-2.0.0-2-Installer-Bundle.exe (whereas the one for those with
LaTeX already installed is LyX-2.0.0-2-Installer.exe).
Make sure you are using LyX-2.0.0-2 and NOT LyX-2.0.0-1, which seems to still
be
on at least one mirror.

Once LyX-1.6.10 comes out (which won't be long), it will be able to

Thanks Jens for the explanations. It works.

Toss 1.6!
Done that when rc1 came out and never looked back.

Hi to the most helpful users-list I know,
I am using memoir to print a book, with a wide margin for graphics.
As I don't need this wide empty margin when printing pagenotes,
I need to change margins for the page notes at the end of each chapter.
I can do this with the preamble code:
Hi,
I am not able download 2.0 for Windows from http://www.lyx.org/Download/#toc3.
Which download do I grab from the mirror site if this is the first time I am
installing a latex package?
Thanks
Steve
You should use LyX-2.0.0-2-Installer-Bundle.exe (whereas the one for those with
LaTeX already installed is LyX-2.0.0-2-Installer.exe).
Make sure you are using LyX-2.0.0-2 and NOT LyX-2.0.0-1, which seems to still
be
on at least one mirror.

Sorry,
I do not seem to be able to find a 2.0.0-2 installer for download let alone a
Bundle. Can you send me a link? Most of the mirror sites fail.
Thanks

As the ability to search for regular expressions is one of the `big' new
features of LyX 2.0, I think there should be a more expansive treatment
of them than the brief section in the User's Guide.
TeXworks is installed with MikTeX these days and has what looks to be an
excellent section in
