Dear all Lyx users:
I have a problem using spellchecker on my intel imac. tried both 1.4.4
and the 1.5 version. When I press the spell check button, the
spellchecker window shows up like a flash and then disappears. Looks
like this spellchecker window is crashed or something. I've installed
aspell
How do I reply to responses to my posts on the lyx mail archive? When I
click
"Reply via email to"
I get the message
'The document has moved here'
and when I click 'here' nothing happens in my firefox browser.
My apologies for all the past requests for clarification or code examples

It seems that spellchecker in lyx does not work for me.
Open a lyx document. For the first time I click the "spellchecker...", a
window flashes up and quickly disappear. Click again, nothing happens.
No any error message.
I tried aspell, ispell, neither worked.
It's lyx 1.5.0-RC2 on gentoo l

Hi!
In my machine, when I write \overset{def}{=} in math mode, the preview is not the expected one: the upper bar of the '=' symbol
overlaps with the word 'def' 8see attached picture). Uwe does not have this problem with his installation, however. Could anyone check
if this is a bug of v1.5.0rc
I have the same problem with your file. If I write any letter except 'y,j,f,p,g,q' the result is ok (i.r. the letters appear above the
'='). But as soon as I write any of those letters, LyX moves the word down, generating the overlapping.
Maybe it is a problem with LyX on my machine (Windows XP

I must have missed this from earlier, but am confused. Why is
dvi-preview left out of the View menu? reconfigure gives me:
checking for a DVI previewer...
+checking for "xdvi"... yes
so it should be able to find it. Was there some decision not to use dvi
previewing? I know that some graph

Works fine here. I write \overset, press space, and then fill in the two
appearing boxes.
LyX-file attached.

You mean it crashes?

If I understood you correctly, then I think it is fixe
If I write \overset{def}{=} I get the preview shown in the attached picture, that is 'def' does not appear above '=', but they both
overlap.

Hello,

refs list at the end of my article. I changed the style to natbib (I had to
