Personally, I'd unstick myself with it and go back to 6.2! We planned
on testing 7.0 here but after 3 days of using it, it became so painful we
gave up in hopes that 7.1 will be
Hi all,
I'm trying to write some documentation for my site, and I want to use citation
references through out the document but don't want to have a "References"
section per se. What I want is a "Section" listed "Addition Documentation"
with subsections like "Books", "Web Sites",

Hi all,
I've been using LyX for quite some time now (since pre-1.0 days) and I
absolutely love it. However, in using it, I've gotten the distinct feeling
that I'd appreciate it even more if I knew LaTeX itself. I guess it has to do
with my insatiable curiosity about how things work :)
So,
Thank you all for you input. For now I will read the essential.dvi document,
and try looking at some of my LyX documents with (X)Emacs and AucTeX.
Soon, I will get copies of both Lamport and Kopka.
Thank you all again, I appreciate your help!

Hi all,
I'm trying to use FoilTeX to create some slides. When I view the PS
output, Some topics span multiple slides. I'd like to be able to
cram more on one slide by tweaking the spacing between itemized list
items, etc.
Is there a way to do this, or do I need to muck with the raw

Hi all,
For quite some time now, my colleague and I have been using LyX to
write our internal documentation. However, we now need to place this
documentation on the internal website. We've tried latex2html, and
it works great as far as I can tell. The problem is it's really ugly.
For our
Hi all,
Can someone provide a pointer to me as to how I can create letterhead
with a logo on it? I know I seen this documented somewhere, I just
can't seem to remeber where.
Thanks,

Hi all,
How can I right justify only a portion of a line of text?
For instance, I want to do something like this:
Boston Marathon 1984-Present
Yet LyX doesn't seem to want to let me do that. Any ideas?
Disclaimer: No, I have never
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to put a footer on to a document using the
article class?
I'm trying to essentially do the same as you might have seen on
letterheads where they list company information along the bottom of
the page.
I've looked at the LyX Tips & Tricks page, but that didn't
