If M28 pin 13 has 2.13V, then I think that is enough to turn on T20. Which
is why the power supply is "off".
So what I think this says is
* When you turn on the power switch (mem switch also on) the power supply
tries to start
* something triggers the PCS signal or the /RESET signal to clock M28
I'll describe a scenario that once really stumped me.
When trying to power up the M100, I found it would start and instantly
stop. Very strange. I traced it to the /LPS signal triggering a soft
shutdown (like POWER OFF).
So, the implication is that it was a defect somewhere not related to the

I don't think you can connect this counter to X2 directly. It won't

The M100 can easily overdrive the VT100 adapter with characters. You can
do this with BASIC even, just sending characters flat out will
eventually fill the buffer and overflow on the PIC processor.

Right now MVT100 takes power from a USB jack@ 5V.
I was thinking about the BCR port and the fact that pin 9 has 5V on it
So I added a single wire to bridge pin 9 over to the USB 5V input pin and
now I am running MVT100 adapter powered by the M100 itself.

The processor adapter board is low profile, having pins short enough to
allow the PCB itself to rest on the socket, on the main board.
Then there is enough room for the CPU socket for the NSC800.
The main rom, being closer to the front, has less room. In that case, no
socket for the option rom.

It is a bit tricky because the system bus behaves differently in M100 vs

The M100 is certainly my favorite as the system bus can be really used,
with a pcb nicely contained in the bay.
The best port to use for storage is still the serial port though. Common
