I am trying both. Neither work. I am wondering if it is the cable. I just
ordered a null modem cable, so we'll see if that does the trick. The
instructions on the M100 site regarding cables is not simple enough for me
to understand. "You will need a full-null cable for Model T to DOS

Barry,
Are you trying to connect to your 100/102/200 or a TPPD drive? According to the
documentation for LapDos II on Club100.org, there are two different cables
depending the connection.
Also, what COM port is your USB to serial set to? My guess is LapDos want's 1

On Monday,
I made quite a bit of progress:
1. My Win XP is running LAPDOS under DOSBOX
2. I got a USB to RS232 working
3. Got a 9-pin to 25-pin adapter (straight thru)
but one last error message befuddles me. I get a "Drive not connected"
message under the Portable Drive side of the screen. I've t
I've had pretty good luck running old programs under DOSBOX and DOSEMU. Not
sure if it would work on Windows 95.
There might be some real mode options available on 95. It has been a long
time.

Ken at club100 may be able to get one to you but I think he is a bit busy with

Do you have a cassette cable?
I could save the dos100.co file as an mp3 file that you could use to load
ts-dos. Then you could format a new disk with it and save dos100 to the disk. A

No DIP switches on the TDD2. Drive is spinning, so diskette may be bad. Any
way to get a new disk?

Thanks for the response. I do have the original TS-DOS diskette in the
drive. Could it be that the diskette is so old that the file has become
corrupted with age?

TS-DOS is not built into the URII, only a loader program. TS-DOS must be on
your TPD disk before it can be loaded.

I just resurrected my Model 102 from storage and am trying to get
everything running. It has the UR-II ROM with TS-DOS built in, but when I
connect the TDD2, all I get is "Not Found" when I enter the TS-DOS program.
Any ideas of what might be wrong?
