Hi listers,
Somehow I have slowed down Siri's voice when we chat about appointments etc.
I've had a look around but can't work out the steps to increase this rate.
I'm not talking about normal voice over interaction, just Siri.

You're getting stuck in the status bar area of the screen, (all the

indeed, in hanging with friends, it happens nearly every time I watch

Siri's volume is adjusted separately from regular voiceover volume. Two
adjusted, use the volume control once you've activated Siri, presumably when it
is actually speaking so you can get a measure of how loud it is.
Hope this helps,
Zack.

I tried Siri on a carer's iPhone 5 today. What I can't get over is the
fact it just recognized my voice instantly without training. I said
hello, it said hello back. Then I said how are you? It said I'm very
well. I then asked what the weather is like. It then brought up the

hi all how do we please get siri to work as advertised?
on the adverts you hear such things as
text my wif end tell her i'll be 30 minutes late.
i would expect the resultant text to go to my wife in this example and state i
will be 30 minutes late, instead when i try this or similar i
And in the adverts it's a lot faster too. I k whatcha mean though I

I think they want

tap on the smaller mic button on the standard iPhone 4S virtual keyboard.
There is no public support for mapping a tap event from one position to
another, and in fact our tap mapping relied on the position of the Siri mic
button staying where we had observed that it is. It's possible
in CEO Dave Howell's message when he pinged me today to let me
know that Avatron would be pulling their Air Dictate app.
In order to comply with App Store rules, Air Dictate used a little trick to
hide the standard keyboard while offering one-button access to Siri
dictation functions

all of your help on this. I very much appreciate everybody's input.
