That was my first try as I have the extended warranty. Their suggestion was to erase and restore as a new iPad. Not restore from backup as the problem may be in a backup. That seems unlikely to me and very hard to do as I would lose a lot of stuff. Now, it’s to happen more often. Guess I’ll

I use Air Display on my 2nd Gen 12.9 Pro. It connects by running a cable from my Mac to the iPad, opening the Air Display 3 on the iPad and launching Air Display Host software from the Mac. I don’t have a reason to run it over wifi because I use it as I edit my photos with Lightroom, Affinity
