That was my first try as I have the extended warranty. Their suggestion was to
erase and restore as a new iPad. Not restore from backup as the problem may be
in a backup.
That seems unlikely to me and very hard to do as I would lose a lot of stuff.

According to Apple my MacBook Air has these ports:
Two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps)
Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps)

I use Air Display on my 2nd Gen 12.9 Pro. It connects by running a cable from
my Mac to the iPad, opening the Air Display 3 on the iPad and launching Air
Display Host software from the Mac. I don’t have a reason to run it over wifi
because I use it as I edit my photos with Lightroom, Affinity
You are right, you would go USB to Lighting. You can’t go Lighting to Lighting
since your MacBook is not lighting.
I’m guessing there is an app with Luna that communicates with the hardware. I
would also imagine there is an IOS app that communicates with the hardware but

I’ve use the Duet on past OS’s, it worked fairly well but in corresponding with
them they continued to tell me it had flaws due to Apple not releasing some
particular code…possibly by now the software works flawlessly…
