The books you buy through Itunes are to my knowledge are audio books
from audible.
They get put in your audio books folder and cannot be read by Alex but
are usually broken into chapters.

haven't turned it off, the easiest thing is to hit Apple-1 to activate
the first bar item or appl-7 to activate the 7th item etc. Really quick
