If you are running any variant of AOL's AIM (Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, Web etc.) you can SMS with somebody by adding a buddy named with a plus sign followed by their phone number. So adding +1551212 would send and receive SMS messages from that phone number. Not sure how this works

Are you sure you have the write side down? Only one side of most CDs is writable. If it really is failing on multiple disks maybe you got a bad batch. I have a spindle of discs right now which is having about a 50% fail rate, which is unusual. I usually have one or two in a hundred fail. If
