2022-01-30 Thread Brandon Olivares
I use an app called TextExpander which expands keyboard abbreviations into longer text. I took the JavaScript from that accessible Wordle site and made it into a snippet in that app. Then I just make it paste into the address bar when I'm on the Wordle page and that works perfectly. I think

Not sure when you started using it, but I literally just started noticing this issue earlier this week. Before then, it worked great: no interruptions in speech at all. I’ve been thinking of asking about it on this list as well. The web version works pretty well if you want to try that. I’m

Odd. How many tabs do you have open? I have a lot of tabs open at any given time, so maybe it’s that? Though I have 16 GB of RAM so I wouldn’t think it’s that. > On Aug 13, 2021, at 7:07 PM, 'Jason White' via MacVisionaries > wrote: > > > On 13/8/21 6:41 pm, Brandon

Safari Busy

2021-08-13 Thread Brandon Olivares
Hi, Safari has been freezing a lot. Often when I just open a new window, it’s hard to navigate anywhere because Safari keeps saying it’s busy. Also in any window, if I just press cmd+l to get to the address bar, it often freezes. Does anyone else have this issue? I’m on Big Sur. Thanks,

Issue with Playlists on Music

2021-06-20 Thread Brandon Olivares
I’m having an issue in the Music app on my MacBook Pro. A lot of my songs are not appearing on my computer, though they show up on my phone. They were added to my library from Apple Music. I thought maybe it was an issue with the network, as I was just on vacation. But I just got home and so

That’s exactly how you do it. After reading the character it should say “selected”, which means you’ve selected that character. “Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven” – Satan, from Milton’s Paradise Lost > On Mar 25, 2021, at 7:10 AM, Nebojsa Tasic wrote: > > > Hi All! > How to

TextExpander Problems

Honestly I enjoy the TouchBar. I don’t use it a lot but I do find it helpful occasionally. Just a tip, if it stops responding, restarting VoiceOver can sometimes help, or switching out of and back into the application you’re in. Also, I thought I heard Touch Bar is being discontinued, so you

As far as I know, there is no way. I’m a professional developer and have never found a way to get VO to announce the indentation. Nine times out of ten I really don’t need to, since my editor takes care of indentation automatically. But if I do need to check, I just put the cursor at the first

If you’re OK with just iPhone, Flashcards Deluxe is the best app I’ve found. It syncs with Dropbox, has simple text import via tab-separated values, supports spaced repetition, and is really easy to use. The apps author is very responsive as well. I’ve never found an accessible flashcards app
