Hello, You mention that one place you are hearing Daniel is on system messages. There is an option in system settings under Dictation and Speech to read system messages. This willies the default system voice not VoiceOver voices. So this might be your issue. Two other possibilities: 1. Perhaps

Hello everyone, I am having a very difficult time with my Mac constantly switching from Alex, my preferred English voice, to Daniel. This frequently happens with system messages, but it also occurs when I am reading my mail. When using German, this problem does not arise, which is at least goo
