Normally, yes, I’d agree. The only reason I don’t agree with you in this one case is, I think it’s needing to somehow grab API’s from both Voiceover and from, most likely, Apple Script. It can’t do that though being those are different components than what are built into the app to start

Chris, I'm not sure if I'll be able to but I will definitely give it a try NCE if I guy name by the name of Rich Lambert still works the school for the blind and see if they have tried using Learning ally on the Mac. He might be able to assist you as he is the technologist for a local school
