When playing a music app radio station, between songs, I get that annoying
happy sound, three rapid ascending beeps, just like you get on the iPhone. This
sound effect just showed up today so probably an update? Any way to shut off
sound effects, indicating transition to new song in the Mac

It seems that you can change the mail sounds easily.
Its only the empty trash and move to trash sounds that makes you jump through
hoops.
Again, I am sorry for the confusion.
So try this, I just did it . I pasted in a new .aiff file and it worked. I also

Yes I do. But all you need to do is to press Enter to stopp recording. Then
uncheck Arm and you can listen to your recording by pressing Spacebar.
Unfortunately the record window is completely inaccessible with VoiceOver. But
at least you can make a recording.

Hi,
as far as I use it it workes really well with VoiceOver. In some points better
then in Windows without Snowbargers scripts.
But I have another question: What exactly are regions and for what can I use

Regions is a way of editing non-destructively. You can select a part of a sound
and then make it into a region. In the pc-version you can then put the regions
into a play/cut list where you can decide to play or skip them, you can reorder
them and even loop them. That's not yet possible on the
regions are used to break one long file in to seperate tracks for a CD.
Question. When you went in to the record dialog, did you keep getting busy
from Voice Over?
