Hi, I've had this happen temporarily on occasion. Turning VO off then on didn't fix the problem but if I got to the Finder, selected a folder, turned VO off, pressed cmd-o to open the folder, cmd-w to close the folder, then turned VO back on, everything worked as it should. Not exactly sure

I think I have the same machine specs you do. Some of this depends on what you want to do while the VM is running and what you want to run on the VM. I mostly use VMs for Jaws and web browsing to test things out there, so 1GB RAM for Windows XP is fine. That leaves 3GB for the Mac to do stuff.
