I've had this happen temporarily on occasion. Turning VO off then on didn't
fix the problem but if I got to the Finder, selected a folder, turned VO off,
pressed cmd-o to open the folder, cmd-w to close the folder, then turned VO

change thumb drives and see if that makes a difference. Alternatively you
might want to get one of those cartridge things from APH. That way it will go

The easiest way is to go to your main contact lists and use non-contiguous
selection to pick the people. Do a command-c and then navigate to the group
contacts table. Just command-v to past the contacts into it.

1. I don't know what you mean by Finer een. If it is is another window or
program you might have touched the Trackpad with your thumps accidentally.
2. The only issue I know of making programs freesing is Growl. Do you use it?
Switch it off and see wether the issue still occurs.
