Hi Alex all.
Has it been possible to get the Talking Dashboard Say Ram Status script working
again?
Thanks
Max.

Not sure what I did as I was playing around in the keyboard shortcuts in system
preferences. I did not think I changed anything but now all of the sudden
command tab does not cycle through open applications rather it seems like the
command key is being ignored and just tab is being recognized
Alex,
I retrieved the script from the zip archive and put it in the proper
folder and pointed the commander to it. Still does not work. So now I
know its not the script itself.
Perhaps a setting somewhere? I did enable commanders.

. . . what if it were true?
Hi Jonathan,
it’s a while ago but I hope you’ll support me again.
I tried the following script:
tell commander
perform command move mouse pointer to voiceover cursor
delay 1
end tell
output mouse summary
tell mouse cursor
click twice
End Tell
Unfortunately it didn’t work.
Even if you mistype a keyword, the script itself will run. The only way that
could be broken is if you introduced a character that threw it off, like a
quotation mark. Can you paste the part of the script you modified so I can have
a look?

Hi all,
I looked back in the archives, but didn’t find any answers.
I want to create a short slideshow, with 6 photos and a music track. I also
want to set the order of the photos.
How do y’all do this? Which apps etc.?
A couple years ago, I successfully did part of this via iPhoto, however
Ok so restarting my computer got tabbing between apps and accent between
windows working again, but curious if this has ever happened to anyone else?
Not sure what I did. Very strange behavior.

I haven't been able to. I looked at it, and as far as I can tell, the output
from Mountain Lion is the same as the output from Mavericks and Yosemite, so I
can't figure out where it is breaking. My understanding, though, is that 10.9
and later handle ram differently now, and will always show it
What brightness do you need for the screen?

I did something similar with a Windows phone.
I needed to move through a text character by character. I couldn't do
it, so I grabbed the iPhone using KNFB Reader and took a picture of the
Windows phone screen and was able to get the text and read it character
by character.

Hi,
I recommend doing what it says and make a duplicate. That way you can hammer
away on it safely until it does what you want.
It’s a good idea to put scripts that you do in ~/Library/scripts.

Hi,
This part isn’t particularly accessible although doable. If I recall correctly
you need to focus on the attachment, bring the mouse to the VO cursor with
VO-cmd-f5, then physically click your mouse or trackpad. If that doesn’t quite
do it, you may need to move the mouse or your finger on

Can someone tell me how to remove and add things to my notification center on

There are

In the app store or in itunes? The app store won't have any content.

Hi folks,
I am attempting to purchase an app on the iTunes app store. I have the most
current iTunes, Mac OS, iPhone 6 with most current software update.
I can only occasionally find the iTunes store. Smile. Any suggestions on how to
consistently find the store?
Once I did find the store and
problem is that too many of my friends are there. however, I still maintain an
older version of Skype here that I can reinstall.

Well I moved the script to another location, edited it and moved it
back.
This is one of the Talking Dashboard scripts, date and time. I have
gone into VO Utilities, Commanders and pointed to this new script. It is
not working but I can go back and point to the default timeofday script
What's your new script, at least the first few lines, look like? Also, as
others have said, it is generally easier to use ~/library/scripts, or somewhere
else in your home folder, so you don't run into these password and other
permissions problems.
On Feb 24, 2015, at 1:28 PM, The Believer
Ok I put the script into ~/library/scripts. I see where I went
wrong, I used the recents from the Go menu to get to the library folder.
Then went into Commanders again and set that, still nothing happens.
I am using your date and time script, did not touch anything but the
keywords.
Hi Rhonda
Are you wanting to get an app for your iPhone or an app for your computer? If
it's the iPhone, I have found it easier to go to the app store on the iPhone.

Ok, because for some reason, someone said they found something in the app

I know it works - I use it all the time. Are you sure the change stuck? That
is, are you certain the commander points to the new script, and that it didn't

Yes, Command right arrow twice. Command right once will take you to your
mentions and and again will take you to your DMs. You can do it again to go to
Favorites then lists then search, then you’ll wrap back to your main time line.
Obviously you can go back and forwards with left or right arrows
My calendar on the iPhone was working fine, giving me a list view of all

iPhone app has lost the list view and now displays that month view that only

call it); and so forth.
