Hi all,
Thank you for the answers. I have found my old 4S and am now in the process of
trying to figure out how to open the stupid sim slot to transfer that sim from
there to the new 5S. You wouldn't think that it would be that difficult to poke
a paper clip or stylus in to the hole and open
Hey folks,
So I downloaded Adobe Reader DC, confident* in its ability to allow access to
PDF files using VoiceOver. Upon selecting a PDF, I was dropped into,
astoundingly enough, an accessible view of the document. Now, here’s the good
bit—when I moved out of that accessible area, I was
Bloody crazy, Sydney is the last place I’d go again.
Melbourne however is a totally different story.

Thanks both for the reply.
I never seen this before either.
It started happening only a few weeks ago, and I can see the early core
audio crash reports go back to June 5. Probably that's when I updated to
the latest OSX.
I guess it's time to go back down.

Just bought iPhone SE. Have headphone jack. Works perfectly with the Otterbox
Defender case, but i pushed out the defender screen(bad stuff). Lets hope the
headphone jack stays on the SE versions.
Take care

Can't say that I've ever seen that, but then again I don't spend much time in
Xcode. Did you try changing to a different synthesizer to see if that resolves
the issue? Assuming, of course that you were able to reproduce the problem 100
percent of the time.

I run OSX 10.115 on iMac 5k 27 inch late 2015.

Hi all, I want to save all my text and iMessages. From reading the archives,
it looks like these are the 2 apps to consider. Does anyone have experience
with saving their messages? Which app did you use?
Thank you,

And yet, if I may say one thing, what the conversations about Brexit lacked is
a deep look at the issue of democracy. I'm astounded and ashamed that 48 % of

Ditto. I think in the future iPhones should be able to be activated without a
sim card, as after all other smartphones can. Hate to say this but Android
smartphones can apparently be set up without a sim. I have no proof though.

Hi!
You first need a sim-card in the phone.
Then you could try to connect it to your computer and set it up via Itunes.

Alas, no. You need a SIM card, just to get it set up. You can operate without
afterwards, and any SIM card will do—even one without service—as long as it’s
an iOS-recognised network.
No, I don’t know why this is either; activation demographics is my best guess.

Thanks Ray that has made an huge difference. That is far easier to read mail

Yeah. When you get to a message you want to read, just press return. To
close, just press CMD+w. To close out a thread, just press left arrow by
itself.

Thanks. I found it but I now have another dumb question. iTunes says there is
no SIM card in the phone and that I need to disconnect it, insert a SIM card
and reconnect it. Is there a way to set it up as an iPod without having to have
a SIM card?
Thanks,
Gabe

OK Ray, will do as you suggest.
One question though, when I get to a message I wish to read after doing the
right arrow key, do I press enter to read the message? And then how do I close
the whole conversation to delete everything in one go?

When you connect your phone to iTunes, you will notice an area where it
specifically says “iphone” or something like that. You’ll just have to explore
until you find it. Should be real easy to find.

Hi,
I have honestly never used the iTunes method so didn't even think of that. A
stupid question, where in iTunes do I look to do this?

Two possible ways you could make this a lot easier.
1. When you get to a thread, you should just be able to open it using the
right arrow key. Note. Make sure quick nav is turned off before you attempt
this.
2. Another way is to press return on a thread and then stop interacting with
it
Worse comes to worse, use iTunes to configure this.
You’ll want to connect your iPHone to your Mac and then go from there.

Hi.
Today, I opened my e-mails to read my mail on this list. I notice that even
though I hear who has contributed to the discussions in the Threads, for some
reason when I try and read the messages, even though they are there, they are
not always showing.
I am using El Cap, latest version.
Hi all,
I just got a new unlocked iPhone 5S in the mail. I took it out of the box and

I would just say we have a similar immigration issue here and it is not
heartless to expect people to immigrate with some sort of process. These same

What I heard was proposed and correct me if I’m wrong is removing the border

Were you equally upset with Hillary’s meddling and the fact she received
