I guess ultimately, what I'd like: I enter on a thread to open it up. I have the option to hit right-option 1 reads sender, right-option2 reads recipients, right-option3 reads CC, and so on. If it was possible, it would be cool to know which message I'm in the thread. Say there is 6 messages

Hello, Hmm, perhaps I could put my ddwalla out there if anybody wants to contribute. I modified the speak sender and subject message script to use the VoiceOver speech instead of the default TTS. I also discovered how to turn off and on the message preview pane while using AppleScript.

Hi all, Is there a Mac shortcut where VO read will read the field who the message is from and who it was sent to? I remember my windows screen reader had shortcuts like alt1 read the from field, alt2 read the to field, etc. If you pressed those shortcuts twice, you'd jump into the field.

I'm surprised stuff like this doesn't happen more like it does with say jaws. I'd happily pay for solutions that gave this kind of functionality. It sounds like clever people could make helpful things that people like me could never do. This isn't having a go at anyone but just an observation
