I deleted it and put it back in but the problem remains. It then added another
debit so it’s really messed up. It had nothing to do with the decimal point
being in the wrong place.

Marie,
I have checkbook pro on my Mac Mini and the way I would try to resolve this is
to go into the table of transactions, follow each transaction step-by-step, and
check the running balance. Somewhere in yourtransactions a list, there must be
an obvious error – I would think anyway.

Have you recently had a $3 or $30 or similar transaction lately? You
may have placed the decimal point in the wrong spot. I would start at
the bottom of the entries and work your way up on the amount column. I
have had to do this a couple times.

Does ;anyone know how to fix this? Even if I added instead of subtracted the
amount of the check isn’t that big. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I've been using Splasm Software's checkbook 2 since 2009, and moved up to Pro
sometime this year. In neither version have I managed to rap my mind around
using splits or using the summaries.
I am especially interested in getting better at using the summaries. If anyone

Steve,
I use the Checkbook pro app as well. It is the first app I have found which is
accessible from a normal software vendor. Saved me trying to write my own
budget scripts.
