one of my patches automated as well as locally, and then I noticed it
also fails on master.
I discovered I could fix it by adding two wait steps, between lines 33/34 and
lines 54/55:

failing automated tests because of a bug that requires a new email
address when you first log in as a new user and are required to change
your password. This is also true on master.

Looking at reconciling the share features. This is a list of tests

7.2 passing null to count
The each() function is deprecated in 7.2, which causes a warning on the first
call.
each() is used in a few places in mahara code, but mostly in 'Dwoo'. There may
be an upgrade for that.

different files.
The duplicates should be removed.

This may be related to PHP 7.1 as it seems to be peculiar to my system.
But on the current master branch when I choose Groups from the main
menu, I see an error and a call stack. It doesn't seem to cause any
other problems.
I looked into it and found that the code is trying
