Hi there,
we do use NavTech data in our Geocoder.
We are producing and selling a Geocoder for Germany and other European
countries based on NavTech data. Additionally, we are using NavTech data
in MapInfo and other formats. We find the data to be highly accurate,
reliable and up to date.
Hello everyone,
I have a client that requires a routing package that will work with MapInfo.
They require this software to be able to perform route optimization, travel
time, allow for time per stop, multiple routes. I am aware of a couple
packages RouteView, WayFinder and Visual Control Room.

vapors of a layout. Then I found HTML and VRML and I left that moment

hi All
In My application i m trying to simulate mapinfo zoom tools so that i can
use my extended functionalities with them ,
evertyhing like zooming and zooming out is working but still i have
problems to find the required exact ratio by which i can exactly fit the
map window mapper to zoom only
In case anyone wants to know:
I have heard from tech support that setting a label to arrow style with an
offset does not produce a visible arrow and that this is a bug that has been
reported in the past. The only way I have found to initially produce an
initial label with a visible arrow
I ran across a bug in where MI crashes if you close the map window after
using a custom tool. I think that was 3.0. Does anyone know if this has
been fixed, or if there is a list I can check somewhere?

Hello people, another quick question. I seem to remember someone saying
something about custom projections someone had made to view the earth
from space. I'm using MI 5.0 if this is simply in 5.5 and I've got my
wires crossed. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Ron

Listers,
Lacking a large-format printer in our office, I'm forced to go to an
outside print shop to have one of my layouts printed. The print shop has an
Oce 9800 printer, and asked if I could provide them with an HPGL2 format
print file. Can I do this by downloading the drivers for this
I have a somewhat similar problem, but I don't think it is the plotter as
Matt Wilkie suggested (at least not in my case).
I have a raster image that has been imported using a projection of UTM
(WGS84). I have some layers on top of it, one of which is a grid at 5000 m
intervals. When I have
Good morning, good evening, and good night to you all.
I was wondering if anyone out there knows if you can change, or create,
your own Patterns in the Fill section of the Region Style. This would
be very helpful when trying to get data from CAD to MapInfo, and then
using MapInfo to assign the
The system you describe works well for me when I need printing done by an

I end up with a *.prn file that I can take direct to the print shop I use
Why don't you give it a try (the "suck it and see" approach)

Thanks!
Never thought of the wildcards - it might work... anyone?
Actually, for my specific project (with LOTS of .TAB and .TIF files), I
started by using
dir *.tab copy.bat
dir *.tab add.bat
and then used Search Replace to build the .BAT files

Dear List...
This is an easy question:

an outer join select) - I select these temp. columns from it in order

Dear all
Just a quick note to say thanks to those who offered me their explanations
and thoughts on the above, I found them all useful and interesting. I lack
any MapBasic manuals out here so the list continues to be very useful in
pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks again

Hi Peter,
Nice solution! What a pity you can't use wildcards to add the text to all
tab files in a directory! (Or can you?)
