is the right place to ask this Butt.I need to know how to change Legend
properties for Line IndValue Default from the Individual Thematic Layers option

8% and cannot be closer than x miles from a certain land use and so on. From that
the system would locate possible paths and select the shortest one. It would then
roughly draw the road.

It appears that MI have completely changed the way that OverlayNodes works since
Version 5.0 and there is no mention of this change in the help screens. OverlayNodes
used to add nodes to the middle of a simple (single section) polyline, leaving the
nodes in the right order. Now, it creates a
use.

Hi Mappers,
I have managed to obtain the font set for the greenmap symbols. They are a
truetype font. What is the procedure for mapinfo to register this new font
set as a symbol set. Currently they are not recognised as a symbol set, only
as letters.

What you need to do is Query Select, then in the "that satisfy" type in:
str$(obj) = "text"
You can do the same with region, polyline, line or point.
My only question is why such a simple query shouldn't be easier to access!

day and age, people expect improved functionality with each upgrade.
In this regard, Mapinfo just isn't delivering.

Hi there,
I did try to fill up your survey forms - exactly 15 hours ago.
The result...it didn't work. I am using IE 5.01 browser.
Your survey form couldn't respond my 'submit
consists of polylines. The lines at one point were ok but at some point
during a redraw or something the lines relocated about 150ft off the
original line they were created from. All three maps have the same
projection.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

transect is not a straight line, and the distance between each point varies.
