the groove in it to fit the long metal bracket, and the bracket itself in at

I should have mentioned that it is only slipping in Reverse. All forward
gears are working as they have since I have had this car. Had my son crawl
under it last night and got the tranny number 722.118 and I have not seen
any vacuum connections.

the early ones had a control rod with no vacuum, then about 77-80 81 or
so they had all vacuum and no cable, then the later turbo cars (240D
still has only vacuum) it has vacuum, with vacuum deal on side of ip and
cable.
