That's for sure. The (just finished) carport project involved 600
self-drilling screws. Possible with a drill but only with considerable
pressure. Stepson's Makita drill-driver was the cat's meow for these.

Take it to a decent tire shop and have them look it over. If you have
tread separation and you describe classic symptoms of exactly that, it is a
very dangerous thing that can and will cause loss of control and a serious
wreck. Do not mess around with it..

I guess you can buy the vinyl for maybe $500, the extra cost is in the
experience and tools to apply it without any gaps, wrinkles, or bubbles.
I think paint would be easier for a DIY than vinyl. I can barely put a sticker
on something without having a bubble.

Not necessarily, it could be for any number of things up to a fairly
significant crash. A carfax would show some insights.
This car probably has a bad engine. Check the vin to be sure.

The small impact is wy better for driving screws than a drill, especially
for Phillips head.I use mine a lot for light mechanicing too. Especially
