One time when I got tires I got talking to the tire monkey and he forgot to
torque all the tires. It was fine for a couple days but Angie and I were going
somewhere, she was driving and one wheel must have gotten loose. It sounded and
felt to me like somebody was beating one of the wheels with

First, they are bolts, not nuts.
Second, if you would drill and safety wire them, it would be obvious at a

Yep. My previous way for decades I do one wheel, it hits the ground and
tightened fully before even moving to the next one. I have up to this
point need to get in the habit of checking them all once it hits the
ground. There have been plenty of times I have done it but have
forgotten 3
You gotta work like an A guy or you’ll kill someone.
If you’re doing tire/wheel work, the last thing you do when the car gets put
back on the floor is to go around and torque every lug bolt. Period. It’s a
pattern you never deviate from. No exceptions.

That lift is going to kill somebody. Since I have had it, it has
totally changed my method of dealing with tires. Previously I would
have a wheel off one at a time, and tighten it then move on to the next
one. With the lift, I have multiple wheels off then am supposed to
torque them down
