What does the other side look like? Are there actually rivets or is it
just glued on? One would think both sides should be the same.
Assuming they are rivets, are they pop rivets? Are they aluminum? Did
they corrode underneath?

Grand touring, so not a sports car, but a joy to drive. I compare it to the
OM606 w124, an almost sporty sedan with restrained power. New seats makes for
easy two tank trips (450-500 mile) with no saddle soreness. Soft top is
expensive to renew, so that is a large plus. Both indicate to me
