The sunroof on my CD has been giving me alot of grief as well. I had to
replace the gear which engages the cable connected to the roof. It is some
sort of composite material and can strip. It seems that if you can open the
roof manually than the gear should be okay. I've had my roof

Noticed sometimes when my 1990 350 SDL ( No wisecracks please, Sunil ) with
244,000 miles cranks but does not start, or starts and barely runs*, that
the stop lever on the IP is about midrange in it's swing. If I move the
lever to it's uppermost position and then try to start the car, it
