Having eaten an MB steering wheel back in 1971 I can assure you they are not
compatible with retaining a full set of teeth, or all parts of your jaw.
They found and reinstalled 4 out of 5 pieces of mine, and most of my teeth.

I've purchased 2 transmissions from Sun Valley Mercedes out of CA. One
for the '83 300SD we bought from Caleb about 6 years ago or so, and
another 2 years ago for my wife's '88 190D.
So far no problems with either, and the install on the 190 was botched
a bit (original installer wasn't

The Fesiva may have looked cheap but I knew many pizza delivery people
who put 200K - 300K on the cars with no major issues. Friends were
searching the local junkyards for seats, window regulators and door
latches.

I knew a driver who bought a new Yugo GV. 50,000 miles
One of my brothers owned three of them. He kept them maintained for many
years and many miles. He only stopped driving the cars when he could no
longer find parts in the junkyard.

IIRC, we pay 24.3 cents per gallon federal excise tax for diesel and 18.3 cents
for gasoline. That's on top of any state and local fees/taxes.
