Still totally enamored of Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires,
the studded type. Hakka 1's, at first, but I think those are
replaced with 4's, is it? Jill's X5 is on its third year, and
they seem like new still. Drives great, and the thing never
slips.

The SD really starts to feel comfortable at about 80, it just settles
down and it is easy to creep it up close to 100 feeling very stable and
comfortable as it speeds up too. These cars were built for that.
I was driving back from Spartanburg Saturday, going 75 or so and getting

I also would probably do that,but given that the fastest I have
ever driven was about 110 in a two year old MGC GT way back when
and the fact that I live in Florida with little reason to drive
anywhere near that fast I think that the Primewells do quite
nicely for me.

I had my '85 190D up to about 95mph, it had more to do and was handling fine, I
ran out of road and nerve about the police. I expect a 124 would handle just
fine at 100+
