Engine eats GP #6 Cokes it in I was getting really good mileage on extended drives. I do not recall exact mpg, but was getting 680 miles on a tank at 80mph with minimal stops. City driving was around 22-27 depending on traffic. Mostly done short drives to work. This is also the model with

I’ve seen a couple of these up for sale recently, and was wondering if anyone here was familiar enough with this model to know from direct experience what kind of mileage is realistic with this car. I’m talking about the later W124 models, like 1995, with the six cylinder OM616 in them. And

She really wants a blue W123 wagon, which I'm all for except for winter use. The salt and snow is one thing, but we also have those mornings that hover around 0F, when starting will be a challenge. Dealing with a block heater or other starting aids while getting two kids out the door for school
