Not I, the shop SWMBA took the car to. They were well versed in BioD damage
and had the specialized parts to reduce the screw over that fuel causes. First
time the GP broke off, second time I forget what happened.

Head came off twice to get the GP out of spot #6 in my 95. BioD made IP
valves leak, the injectors wanted attention another time.

Engine eats GP #6 Cokes it in
I was getting really good mileage on extended drives. I do not recall exact
mpg, but was getting 680 miles on a tank at 80mph with minimal stops. City
driving was around 22-27 depending on traffic. Mostly done short drives to
work.
This is also the model with
wow, that went cheap

But I bet the reserve is in the neighborhood of $10k, when the seller probably
paid less than €1000.

I’ve seen a couple of these up for sale recently, and was wondering if anyone
here was familiar enough with this model to know from direct experience what
kind of mileage is realistic with this car.
I’m talking about the later W124 models, like 1995, with the six cylinder OM616
in them. And
SW Missouri phone line.

More ideas,
Kaleb or someone needs to set eyeballs on this to make sure this is not vapor.
Instead of FL - WA excursion, something should happen.
Someone here needs this car - its gotta stay in the family.

Do what I used to do in Wisconsin. I installed one of those 24 hour lighting
timers in the front of my garage that turned on my block heater around 4:00 am.
Walk out, unplug and coil up, close the hood, drive away with heated cabin.
Although I can relate to the complexity of having to plug in
I wish. He’s got an 8-5 that’s actually pretty good considering his lack of
higher education. He would be hard pressed to get away long enough to do it.

This definitely fits the bill. Put a couple of rows of seats in the back and
you can drive the whole team.

She really wants a blue W123 wagon, which I'm all for except for winter
use. The salt and snow is one thing, but we also have those mornings that
hover around 0F, when starting will be a challenge. Dealing with a block
heater or other starting aids while getting two kids out the door for
school
You need to buy it for her!
I think I like your wife, especially as she tolerates your addiction.

I’m trying to find a relatively cheap diesel in good general condition for the
oldest son, as the S420 is eating him alive on fuel. The problem with this
arrangement is that I buy the car, get it in good condition, then he (maybe)
