We have found the easiest way to change rear wheel bearings (or fronts, in FWD VW/Audis) is to remove the wheel carrier. A rear PITA, but I've found the hub is almost impossible to get out on the car, it takes a press. While you have it out, replace the spring link bearing. Check the rear
