That would put one shoe partly out and make it not fit. I believe
that was what was wrong with one of mine when the new shoes
wouldn't fit. Some people will try to adjust the parking brake
with the cable rather then the adjusters

I would take the disks off of both sides and look to see what the
difference is between the side that fit and the one that doesn't.
Could be as simple as the shoe not set in the right place, might
need to be moved up? or the adjuster is not backed in all the
way. Some dirt in it?

and the back wheels to the front and see if it still does the
front end shimmy.
