There are a lot of automotive uses for a DC clamp-on ammeter. Those,
though, are not usually so cheap. I use a Fluke, I think meter and clamp,
used, were in the $200-300 territory.

Its not the engine I was thinking about its the size of the truck. The
Colorado is a mid-size...Google says the F150 can tow: 5,000 to 10,500 lbs
(quite a spread).The Colorado is listed as 3,500 to 7,000 lbs in a smaller
truck.

Mitch posted something about it a month or so ago. I had a gasser with an auto
last month as a rental, it was a decent car. If the shifter has decent feel I
imagine it'd be a fun car to drive.

slow and it was fine. 4400# tractor on a 1500# trailer. Definitely at the upper

tried to start it and nothing except for a message on the computer saying the
battery is suspect.
I've never replaced the battery on this.
I see they are advertising the smaller GM truck with a 4 cylinder turbo
diesel.
Anyone had a look at these?
