If anyone is interested 1979 240D, which I log in every tank full is getting around 27 to 28 mpg, highway, 22-24 city automatic tranny. Comes in around 26 mpg average +/- the 190Ds do a nicer job in the sustainability department. That is a nice selling/purchasing point for future reference.
