Seems to work ok for Mercedes. I dont trust that flexi stuff right between
the hot sides of the turbos and the manifold. It comes off the block next
to the downpipe.

tubing. Your idea will probably work, or he could knurl the tubing somehow and
get it to not slip.

This is actually a really good starting point for a 606 swap, but it would
be a huge step backward for me. I am pretty close to bolting an entire
shelf of v8 driveline and Finnish induction and fuel injection stuff into
my 87 wagon. Just need to figure out why my metric 10mm iso bubble flare
tool
New intake manifold with big Cummins turbo and yer good ta go...
