The ABS on my '95 Taurus was so bad I used to shut off the ignition when
approaching stop signs in icy weather. Never felt the need to do that

ABS is good on wet/icy/dry pavement, and bad on soft surfaces.
One soft surface that is perhaps appropriate for ABS
is your lawn! (Though an inadvertent peel-out is far
more likely than a skid.)

A/C in our 617 turbo was converted to R134a a few years back, but

I'd seriously considered buying the house across the street from us so I could
