It's working without any issues on my trendtac epc700 + external zd1211b usb
stick + kernel 2.6.24.3(uImage_RV10) + lennyflux.

FYI, the wpa_supplicant from the rvfluxlenny_tar.bz2 does not seem to have
any extra ability to hook to the netbook's WiFi. Neither z1211, nor zd1211.

Hi Nikolaus,
Thanx.
Lenny and etch have the wpa_supplicant without zydas driver, those ones should
work with kernel 2.6.24.3.
The echo power string is needed if you use internal build in wifi (usb port
hidden inside) you can disable the power from this usb.
If you use the external usb stick
Good info!

Hi,
For the wifi stuff running in kernel 2.6.24.3 you need
a) udev install
b) zd1211-firmware install
c) wpa_supplicant (you need one without the compiled zydas driver, the old one
only works for kernel 2.4)
d) reconfigure /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf with the correct

I think this should also be patched by the .postinst script so that it
is done automatically by ifup/ifdown.

Finally,
I have got all the required files and procedures
to restore the Letux 400 to the factory settings:
* Kernel 2.4 v66 (showing the Enjoy! message)
* Minifs 1.20
* normal recovery file
All files and a short README are available here:

could you tell me the steps on how to get the minifs working?
I tried the steps peter proposed .
but it seems that i just get the kernel in place but not the minifs. :-(
i used the minifs.img, from peters links.
but somehow F3 is not still not working
Maybe someone could give me a hing .
Thank
You're not the only one. But now you have the Alpa400 kernel running, can't you
just use IMG files for recovery? The 3MX releases are all in IMG format, try
them...

Yes, the 2.6-kernel has an auto-dimming logi

Ok,
now I have collected 4 different 2.4 kernels :)
Two Skytone Alpha 400 and one Elonex and one that is not working...
All are slightly different.
But the minifs is still not running when pressing F3 (I think this is hard-coded
into the kernel). So I will try as the next step to extract the off
