Hi misc@-readers!
I have once more read man afterboot(8) and a question came up related
to the superuser's password.
In section 'root password' advisory is given to choose a password
that has digits and special characters (not space). This last advice

Hi there,
has s.o. managed to get kile-kde4 from ports up and running properly?
On my system (Lenovo T60 / Core2 / OpenBSD-current #315 - amd64)
kile-kde4 did compile and does start - but that's about it. I cannot
open any file as the system complains about wrong libraries and unknown
mimetypes.

Setting the volume up refers to '/dev/sd0m' while unlocking this
volume is described with reference to '/dev/sd1m'. Most likely this typo
sneaked in as in this example the volume attaches as 'sd1'...

It does have it, in packages, and it is not magically invulnerable because
it runs on OpenBSD, it has the same problem as on other OS. Various things
in packages explicitly use bash rather than /bin/sh so there are some cases
where you may run into problems.
One example: 'abcde' has a
