The subject line says most of it and I am completely stumped, so any
theory, no matter how whacko, would be appreciated. This problem has
persisted since the 0.9.6 milestone and still applies today with 0.9.8.
To put it simply, I cannot install Mozilla. The steps I try are:

I've noticed this and I think it is considered a feature since if you
were redirected once than it stands to reason that you are going to be
redirected again if you visit the same page. I think(but have no actual
knowledge) that the point of this is to prevent you from getting stuck
on a page

Anyone noticed or reported this?
When loading a page with a meta tag that's supposed to load another page
after n seconts:
Mozilla's Back button isn't updated when moving to the other page. You
can't back to the previous page, instead you are taken to the page you
visited before that page.

Your cache is also stored in your profile. It is possible that the
cache for the page somehow became corrupted, and when you create a new
profile the new profile has its own cache and loads everything fresh...

At this page:

repeatedly using the javascript styleswitcher on the page or using Mozilla's
