You might consider renting a leaf blower. Some can have the fan reversed
and act as a kind of lawn vacuum cleaner. This would be the best way to
remove what chemical you can, assuming that it was a dr
Hi All!
I am something of a lawn care fanatic. Payed my way thru grade school and
high school, and in those days I actually had to bag the grass!
Heather, it appears that you have been the unwilling recipient of a $50
windfall. Maybe they charge even more. I wouldn't know, as I just recycle

According to the MTC (percursor of METC), buses are on Nicollet Mall
because MNDOT paid for the street so that the buses could be there. As a
former driver, I always thought running buses on Nicollet Mall was
disasterous. The architecture of the street encourages people to walk
and wander, but
I am more concerned about the amount of animal urine
and fecal residue that is on the lawns of our parks
and schools. Whittier School and Whittier Park have
the same green space.
When we checked the statutes, it appears as if there
is an ordinance prohibiting pets from school yards.
However, b
Sorry to raise lawn care again, but one of
those lawn chemical companies just dumped herbicide on my lawn instead of
my neighbor's. I've never used the stuff because I read somewhere that there was
a connection between it and childhood cancer. I can't remember exactly what the
article said,
I have just been severely chastised for identifying
someone as a Scandahoovian in my post about race. Just for the record, my
mom is half Swedish and half Italian, so don't get your Krumkaka soggy over
it.

Hello all,
First off, I am a parent of four kids all white. One has been all the way through that
Mpls Public School system (Hale, Field, Anothny, South).
I agree with Diane that the adults in the school system have, though I do not
experience it, racial bias, tendencies, what ever you want to

Personally, I think with the Guthrie already

I guess I don't
get why they don't just put their lobbying money into this
project -- and
put their energies into getting the money from where money
can be gotten.

Bob Gibbons, Director of Customer Services for Metro
Transit, stated the Mall carries 11 routes and 930 bus
trips a day.
If I recall, one of the major justifications for the
Mall routes was that retail establishments(Dayton's et

Here the short answer to the question I posed earlier this week: what neighborhood
names were used by the city in 1962 for these areas?
Jordan: Lowell (after the now-demoed school)
Lynnhurst: Burroughs (after the still-extant school)
South Central/North Bryant area: Warrington (after the now-d

I can understand why the Guthrie desires a new
facility with more flexible technical and staging
capabilities. The unique experience provided by the
thrust stage at the Guthrie puts significant limits on
the types of theater that they can successfully stage.

The Strib editorial board as long been a supporter of a new ballpark for

half right; the location of any new stadium shouldn't be determined by
politics.
