there is an option for a new MSX without having to adhere to legacy hardware.
Look at the Castle Iyonix computer (http://www.iyonix.com).
It is a new hardware based RISC PC (XScale, PCI, USB, Gigabit ethernet, etc), which
runs RISC OS.
For old software (in this case the problem is 26bit
available as cartridges or on-board memory?

bleh I do not care about that.. the only thing I want is an emu that runs on

I think it's all because there have been so many rumours, which turned out
to be just that, that everyone has gotten careful, and just has the 'wait
and see' attitude. Until ASCII puts out a formal (press)release, they're
still rumours... And in another email I read that they plan a MSX on 1
too bad it's all going so-so... the FD is a great medium. Maybe something
can be worked out with the people from MCCW?

dedicated MSX emulator for DC and/or PS2. The machines are powerful enough

Although I think converting the paper manuals to electronic ones is very
good, I'd prefer to use PDF as standard. HTML is fine for online viewing,
but annoying if you want to print something (multiple HTML pages are
seperate printjobs). A PDF file can be printed in one go.
