In case anyone's wondering, the only way I've found to sync anything resembling a task list with a mind-map with floating topics is to use Mindview Business's Outlook sync. Mindmanager's outlook sync doesn't sync the floating topics. OutlookLinker will do this as a plugin but it's really clunky.
