I agree that it is important to be able to record a task as not done / aborted / superseded. Not many task managers have an easy way of doing that. The way I do it in MLO is to have a category "-Superseded", which I set when I check the task off. I have an autoformatting rule to set a little,

1 of the way i use MLO is to track the freelance job. When I have finished the jobbut still waiting for payment, i would not want to CHECK it off as done. coz i might forget to follow up if i check it off. So, instead, I add some "tags" or "symbols" to the task, like ✓ or [ ✓done ] Example: Task

Yes, hold menu does give some useful shortcuts (I'm particularly using it to add Contexts and to Delete tasks). However its Date button means "Due date", which I'm not using very much. There's now way of setting it up to launch "Start date". Maybe that's slightly different on Android, I'm not
