For a given MIB, our container_load function takes 2 seconds, but still the

As I say, the types and values for those responses appear to be

Hi,
I have two mibs that I are extended with "dlmod xxx" in the snmpd.conf. I could
display those two mibs if specifying them directly on the command line.
However, if I do a snmpwalk like:
snmpwalk -v 2c -c public 127.0.0.1
I only see some of the standard mibs, but not the two m

Hi,
I am trying to embed mib code for a table into an external application. I put
the agent_check_and_process function into the applications main loop.
Whenever try to walk the table, it'll output some of the table rows, but after
some time, it will either timeout with a 'No Response from x.x

OK - so you've got a MIB table 'abcTable', defined with "INDEX {abdIndex}"
You've also got an SQL table 'abcTable' with primary key 'abcIndex'
With you so far.
surely I will look into snmptrapd_sql.c> Problems is the keys. Parent table
index and child table index makes the key for the child table.
I'm sorry - I don't understand what you mean by this.
SNMP doesn't have a concept of "parent tables" and "child tables".
A table is a table is a table.

No.
SNMP uses ASN.1 to define the structure of data (in MIB files),
and to transfer that data between the agent and the management
application. But all of this is handled automatically at a fairl
Hi,
As far as I know , SNMP datas are in ASN.1 format . How can I save the data in
database ?
Problems is the keys. Parent table index and child table index makes the key
for the child table.
It is not guranteed that the same index will be always be there for dynmic
table/ dynamic rows.
